Listen to our investor Bent Agervold Jensen, Partner at Carve Consulting, talk about why he chose to invest in solar energy and what makes it an attractive investment.

How does it work?

We understand that getting to grips with a new investment case can be challenging. That's why we've done our best to give you an insight into what it means to become an investor in one of our solar projects and what you can expect in the future. We'll guide you through every step, from the first tentative interest in investing in solar, to becoming an active participant in general meetings and receiving returns.

Timeline of the project progress

Introduction to investment project

Interested in becoming part of one of our solar projects? We are happy to send you more information and material about the project. We also offer personal conversations via phone, video or in-person meeting to give you a deeper insight into your investment opportunities. Furthermore, we are always available to answer any questions you may have during the process. Remember that the minimum investment is 750,000 DKK.

Signature and acceptance of investment

If you find the project interesting, you will need to sign the subscription agreement and pay the deposit. Subsequently, you will receive a confirmation when everything has gone through. EstatePartner will then gather the necessary material from all investors and send it to the bank and the authorities.

Administration and
operations

As an investor, you will be invited to the first general meeting, where you can meet the other investors and a board of directors will be elected. Administration of the company is handled by EstatePartner in Denmark and by business partners abroad. The technical operation of the facility is carried out by our local partner and monitored by our own technical company.

Return, repowering
and possible exit

The annual general meeting decides how much of the operating profit will be paid out to investors. After 20 years, there is an option for repowering of the plant with more efficient modules, which we of course help with. If you as an investor want to sell your share, there are several different exit options.

We are experts in renewable energy investments

At EstatePartner, we have been enabling Danish investors to access solid energy projects in Europe since 2006. We were among the first to open the market for solar investments - and have since helped both private and institutional investors create stable returns through green energy.

Our strength lies in experience, market knowledge and the ability to tailor solutions with high transparency and professional operations. We have made investments in several countries and today offer access to projects with some of Europe's highest operating margins in renewable energy.

With us, you get a dedicated contact person and a personal approach - not just a platform. We prioritize dialogue, openness and proximity to both the project and the process, and regularly invite our investors on tours, seminars and general meetings.

We work closely with funds, companies and private investors who want to combine returns with responsibility.

Exit options

EstatePartner will always help you in the event that an investor wants to sell their shares. The four most common ways to sell your shares are the following.

  • If the investor wishes to divest the shares in the company, it will be obvious to offer the shares to the other investors. The reason
for this is that the other investors in the company will have in-depth insight into
all the company's affairs, which is why it will be easier to decide on a purchase in advance
than it would be with an external investor.

  • If the company has sufficient liquidity, a sale of the shares can in principle take place directly in the form of the company buying its own shares. A sale to the company requires the board's approval and will typically be relevant if the company's liquidity situation turns out to be better than budgeted.

  • The investor may choose to appoint e.g. EstatePartner A/S to locate an investor to purchase the shares in the company, EstatePartner A/S has a significant customer database built up over more than 15 years of experience in the purchase, supply and management of renewable energy plants. If the investor chooses to use EstatePartner A/S for a divestment of the shares in the company, an individual terms and fee agreement is typically entered into. Fees are only due if EstatePartner A/S succeeds in obtaining an investor who accepts the terms and conditions.

  • If the investor is able to do so, the investor can of course designate its own external buyer for the shares. The only requirement for a transfer is that the board of the company receives written documentation of the transfer, including to whom the shares are transferred, so that the company's register of shareholders can be updated with the identity of the new owner.
